Cinema
The Film Department strives to cultivate in its students a love of art and culture, critical thinking, and social and humanistic awareness. While exposing students to the various aspects of the art of film, we strive to cultivate a love of film in them, and to give them the tools to create and express themselves in the cinematic medium.
Activities
In order to consolidate the students of the program, we go out every year for a two-day film seminar. In addition, every Wednesday the entire program gathers for a forum called the "Cinema Club," where we host master classes from various fields, watch films, or deal with internal matters of the program.
Every year we go to festivals such as: Doc-Aviv, Student Film Festival, Golden Light and Soundtrack.

Topics taught
During their studies in the program, students create dozens of exercises and films, in the process they experience and specialize in scriptwriting, research, production, photography, editing, directing, lighting, recording, soundtrack design, and art.
Great emphasis is placed in the creative process not only on the artistic and professional aspects, but also on the social and ethical ones: through the long and complex creative process, we strive to foster a trend-setting ethos of equal opportunities, teamwork, shared responsibility, class solidarity, and the transfer of knowledge from adults to young people.

Studies in the major
The unique major program for film studies
The social sphere
The social awareness that we strive to foster is also directed outward to the world, and therefore every year the students carry out a social project that connects them to people outside their immediate circle of acquaintances.
Infrastructure and equipment
The students have access to an advanced equipment warehouse containing cameras, lights, and sound equipment. All managed by the students of the program, with the aim of teaching the students to take responsibility, to conduct themselves in a mature, professional, and trustworthy manner, and to increase the students' identification with what is happening in the program.
A large film library is available to students.
All students receive an Adobe software package to install on their personal computer.
Student products
At the end of each year, a screening evening is held for each of the grades in the major, in which the students present the fruits of their annual work to their peers, parents, and school staff.
The team
