Theoretical studies
All students at Telma Yellin must complete a regular theoretical matriculation examination, in addition to the artistic major in which they are studying. The subjects for the matriculation certificate are divided into two groups: general theoretical subjects, which include compulsory and elective subjects, and the unique subjects in the fields of art.
Elective subjects
In addition to the matriculation exams in the compulsory subjects and the art majors, you can expand and take the exam in 5 study units in one of the compulsory subjects or one of the elective subjects: Biology, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Social Sciences.
We recommend that you choose one additional advanced subject.

Compulsory subjects
In order to be eligible for a matriculation certificate, you must take the following subjects:
Language and Expression 2 credits
Literature 2 credits
Civics 2 credits
Bible 2 credits
History 2 credits
Mathematics 3, 4 or 5 study units
