Every story
starts with a dream

The school, named after cellist Thelma Yellin, was founded in 1959 by teachers from the Tel Aviv Academy of Classical Music, headed by the late Professor Eden Partosh. Thelma Yellin is a unique national school, a high school for the arts, our students come from all corners of the country:
Cities, suburbs, development towns, kibbutzim and moshavim. What sets them all apart is the aspiration to reach the first and leading school in the country that offers art studies alongside academic and scientific studies, all at the highest level.
